Our CSR policy

Corporate social responsibility has been at the heart of Cooler Media from the very beginning. By simplifying complex topics, we help drive initiatives that aim to make the world a better place. For us, CSR isn’t an afterthought — it’s a core part of who we are.

We consciously use resources, stay mindful of the climate, and contribute to sustainable and green solutions. It’s something we do day in and day out. For instance, we invest in the well-being of our employees and share knowledge on socially relevant topics through our AnyStories.

Our CSR approach goes beyond driving electric cars or running a paperless office. We conduct business responsibly — socially, sustainably, and ethically. For years, we’ve offered special rates for projects with social impact, such as those in the healthcare sector. Each year, we also donate to charities or produce free videos for initiatives we believe in.

We digitalized our working method by, among other things, signing contracts online with no use of notepads or other polluting products.

Go green! Our green office has various energy-saving measures, such as lamps that switch off automatically, green electricity, and electric cars.

Charities

Every year we donate to charities or make pro bono videos for a chosen organization.

Objectivity, diversity, and inclusivity — everyone should feel welcome. We reflect this in our animation design by creating characters that are relatable and recognizable to all.

Let’s talk about AnyStories

What makes us truly unique and socially responsible? Our AnyStories. This is an in-house project that our entire team pours love, time, and dedication into. In 2021 alone, we invested over 600 hours in creating these videos — made possible by our customers. When you work with Cooler Media, you’re also contributing to a clearer, more informed world.

In 90% of cases, we collaborate with partners who provide us with valuable — often scientific — knowledge to shape the story. This ensures our viewers receive accurate, factual information, presented from an objective perspective.

We are therefore always looking for impactful partners, such as the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ), various hospitals, Naturalis Biodiversity center, or the European Space Agency (ESA). They give us the necessary knowledge to make a unique story. This way, everyday subjects are communicated clearly and objectively, and the general public receives the correct information.
